🎉 We’re now a registered New Zealand charity — and this is just the beginning!

Yesterday we received the news we’ve been working toward for a long time: Small Business Mentoring Limited is officially a registered charity in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This milestone isn’t about status — it’s about service. It means we can continue to walk alongside individuals, whānau, and small business owners who are navigating financial stress, rebuilding confidence, or trying to create a more secure future. It strengthens our ability to deliver free financial mentoring and free group financial capability programmes to those who need them most.

Becoming a charity recognises the heart of our mahi: community first, people at the centre, and financial wellbeing as a pathway to dignity and opportunity.

To every one of you who has trusted us, referred someone to us, collaborated with us, or simply believed in the power of practical support — thank you. This achievement belongs to our community as much as it does to us.
